I became acquainted with Donnie Gilson in the late 50's when George would sometimes fly a spray plane for my stepdad O.E. Cox in Tarkio Missouri. I spent several nights at their home in Hamburg with Donnie and George would fix us breakfast before we would fly to Tarkio in his Cessna airplane for the work day. he sold me my first wrist watch (a black faced timex) which i still have today. so sorry I was not aware Donnie had passed. I remember George passing in the early 60's.
sincerely,
