Zachary G. "Zach" Wise

Zachary G. “Zach” Wise, age 37 of Nebraska City, NE passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 in Omaha, NE.

Zachary was born on November 2, 1986 at Children’s Hospital in Omaha, NE; the son of Kevin E. Wise and Dena R. Wise.  He attended school in Nebraska City and then Lincoln, where he attended North Star High School.

He had most recently worked as a manager at Burger King in Nebraska City for 3 years and helped part-time at the Vape Shop.  Zach loved NASCAR (especially Hendrick Motorsports) and was a big sports fan who loved the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Atlanta Braves and LA Lakers.  He was an animal lover, enjoyed a good meal with his family and spending time and spoiling his nephews and niece.

Zach is survived by his mom Dena Vicars of Lincoln, NE; his dad Kevin Wise of Nebr. City, NE; siblings:  Emalii Wise of Lincoln, NE, Joshua Larson of Nebr. City, NE and Alex Vicars of Lincoln, NE; grandparents:  Vicki Larson, Tom Coates and Ryan Warren all of Nebr. City, NE; nephews:  Joseph Sterling and Zandyr Vicars; niece Jasmine Sterling; other family and friends.

His beloved chihuahua, Franny preceded him in death.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Gude Mortuary in Nebr. City with Pastor Daniel Evertson officiating.

Memorials may be given to the family.
