Vincent R. Ireland

Vincent R. Ireland, age 63 of Nebraska City, NE passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly on July 20, 2026 at his home.

Vincent Ray Ireland was born on October 19, 1962 in Albany, MO; the son of Donald P. and Linda R. (Sullender) Ireland.  He attended elementary and junior high school in King City, MO.  The family later moved to Rock Port, MO where he attended the Rock Port High School, graduating with the Class of 1981.

He worked at various jobs over the years, including at Honeywell, Walmart, Pioneer Theater and most recently in the Maintenance Department at St. Mary’s Hospital; all in Nebraska City. Vincent enjoyed walking, buying collectables, and collecting and watching movies.  He had a deep love for animals, and made sure that the dogs and cats in the neighborhood were well taken care of.  He was a member of Eagles Club in Nebraska City.

Vincent is survived by his beloved mom Linda Clark of Rea, MO; brothers: Logan Ireland of Omaha, NE and Barry Ireland (Gemalyn) of Reno, NV; nieces:  Aprille Ireland, Brylle Ireland, Cyprille Ireland, Ashley Ireland and Jessica Burrows, his co-workers and friends at St. Mary’s Hospital and other extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Don Ireland on October 11, 2017, his step-father George W. Clark Jr. and a nephew Camden Ireland. 

The family will greet friends on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A Memorial Service  will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1 at Rea Union Church in Rea, MO with Pastor Randall Lynch officiating.   Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Mount Auburn Cemetery at St. Joseph, MO.
