Tony E. ("Beaz") Lang

Tony E. "Beaz" Lang, age 51 of Riverton, IA passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Tony was born on April 19, 1969 in Fairfax, MO; the son of Merrill Eugene and Jane Marie (Owen) Lang.  He graduated from Hamburg High School with the Class of 1988.  

He worked at various jobs over the years, including the meat processing plants in Phelps City, MO and Omaha, NE.  Most recently, he took care of the lawn at Washington Park Plaza.

Tony is survived by his mother, Jane Lang of Riverton, IA; children: Ashley Churchill of North Carolina and Kyle Lang of Kirksville, MO; sister Terry Hopkins and husband Brent of Sidney, IA; brothers: Martin Lang of Arizona and Jody Lang and wife Susan of Glenview, IL; nieces and nephews:  Tanya Chapin (fiance Tom Thaemiltz) of Spirit Lake, IA; Travis Chapin (Molly) of Nebr. City, NE, Ryan McVean (Mary Alice) of St. Charles, IL, Ashley Morrical of Rock Port, MO and Kelby “Gus” (Kelsie) Lang of Missouri; other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father on July 5, 2008 and his grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at First United Methodist Church in Hamburg, IA.  Inurnment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery near Hamburg.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg.
