Our beloved Tina Marie Lant passed away leaving behind a legacy of faith, kindness, generosity, and unconditional love. She was a deeply devoted daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and child of God who was cherished and loved by everyone fortunate enough to know her. Tina was a strong and beautiful soul who spent her life between two places she adored, spending half of her life in Nebraska and the other half in Washington State. Her very first job was a classic Nebraska memory—working at the very first Runza in Lincoln, NE.
Tina later pursued her passion for the arts, graduating from Highline Community College where she studied graphic design and photography. She possessed a brilliant artistic eye that she shared with the world in many ways. Her diverse talents led her through a fulfilling career path. Combining her deep love for animals with her desire to help, she worked as a dedicated veterinary technician. Later, she brought her skills to Microsoft, where she worked for approximately 15 years.
Tina’s heart was as vast as the outdoors she loved so much. She was happiest when she was in the mountains, hiking and camping among the peaks. That same gentle nature made her a fierce advocate for animals; she absolutely loved her family and her cats, and she spent a great deal of her time and energy caring for stray cats in need of a helping hand.
Above all, Tina was an amazingly strong person. She handled all of the hardships she experienced in her life with such incredible grace, never losing her loving spirit. She was a woman of deep faith who loved God and greatly enjoyed the warmth and community of her wonderful church family. She will be remembered by all as someone who was exceptionally kind, loving, and generous.
Tina is survived by her mother and step-father-Micheal and Linda Allison, her 2 sisters, 4 brothers, 3 nephews, and 1 niece. She is preceded in death by her Father, Rodger Lant, Grandma and Grandpa Val and George Kane, Grandma and Grandpa Mabel and Karl Komma, Grandpa Cliff Lant, Grandpa Fred Roesch, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tina’s celebration of life will be held on April 4th at 3:30 PM at her beloved church, Golden Hills located at 3005 Golden Blvd, Bellevue, Ne. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Tina's memory by donating to Catz Angels Care in Fremont, Nebraska.
