Terrence L. (Terry) Taege

Terrence L. “Terry” Taege, age 74 of Ralston, NE passed away at Prestige Care Center in Nebraska City, NE on August 11, 2023.  He had lived at Prestige Care Center since May 17, 2023.

Terry was born on March 10, 1949 in Elmhurst, IL; the son of Ralph Oswald and Caroline Elizabeth (Jaacks) Taege.  He attended school and graduated from high school in Arlington Heights, IL.  He later attended Concordia College at Seward, NE where he earned his degree.

He was united in marriage to Deborah Kay Cavanaugh on June 16, 1973 in Hutchinson, KS.

Terry worked for some 30 years at Lutheran Brotherhood (Thrivent) where he taught and trained various representatives of the company.  

He is survived by his wife Deborah of Ralston, NE; four children:  Keith Taege of Florida, Jeff Taege, Travis Taege and Courtney Wilson all of the Omaha Metro area; eight grandchildren, three great-grandsons, a sister and two brothers.   He was preceded in death by his parents.
