Ross Franklin Green

87 year old Ross Franklin Green, Sr. was born in East Omaha, Nebraska to parents Millard L. Green, Sr., and Crystal Coburn Green, on March 2, 1934. Ross attended Pershing Elementary School, and later Technical High School. Ross worked in Montana on a ranch, later moved with his family to southeast Missouri. Ross worked for many years as a machinist at Sperry Vickers in Omaha. After retiring, he raised livestock for awhile and later had his own lawncare business. Ross is survived by his wife, Irene, their dog Sadie, his son, Ross II "Butch" and grandaughter Sage Green, both of Omaha, and also by his daughter, Connie Green, of Blair, NE. Ross is survived by siblings Linda Doyle, Millard Green, Jr, and Joi Plumb Lambert and their spouses and families. He is pre-deceased by his parents, daughter Cherie Green, siblings Clifford Green, Sabra Tilton, Coralee Nelson, Richard Green and Mildred Green, mother of his children, Frances Wolfe, Brothers in law Ronald Tilton, Sr., and Simmon "Jr" Nelson, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial gathering will be planned at a later date.
