Ronald C. McCown

Ronald C. McCown, age 50 of Nebraska City, NE passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Lincoln, NE.

Ron was born on August 9, 1969 in Nebraska City, NE; the son of Warren C. and Kathleen G. (Chappell) McCown.  He attended school in Nebraska City, graduating from Nebraska City High School with the Class of 1987.  

Ron worked at American Meter in Nebraska City for some 22 years.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the NRA.  His favorite past time was spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed coaching his kids and spending time with them.

He is survived by his children:  Deryk A. McCown and Brooke N. McCown both of Nebraska City, NE; siblings:  Kenny McCown and wife Kathy of Lincoln, NE and Vicki Depenbusch and husband John of Lincoln, NE; nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Rick McCown and Dan McCown.
