Robert John Becker

Robert J. Becker, age 72 of Nebraska City, NE passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at his home.

Robert John Becker was born on August 22, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI; the son of William Anthony and Anita Marie (Kappel) Becker.  He grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Pio Nono High School with the Class of 1971.   He entered the United States Air Force on November 8, 1971 and honorably and faithfully served his country until his discharge on May 5, 1979.

He attended college at Marquette University and later attended Ververd University in Cocoa, FL.  Bob worked for many years at Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) at Brownville, NE as an Assistant Engineer.

He is survived by his brother Thomas Becker and wife Arlyne of Conover, WI and his sister Pamela Becker of Milwaukie, OR; other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his significant other Anna M. McLaughlin.

Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Phelps Cemetery in Phelps, WI.
