Rick A. Eloge

Ricky A. Eloge, age 71 of Nebraska City died at his home on May 11, 2022 following a battle with cancer.

Ricky Allen Eloge was born on April 4, 1951 in Nebraska City, NE to Lester and Ruth (Bird) Eloge.  Lester died when Rick was five.  Rick was raised in Nebraska City by his mother and step-father Lowell Eslava.

Rick worked for several years as a truck driver and most recently was the groundskeeper for Nebraska City Public Schools.

Rick is survived by his daughters:  Kerri McMann of Omaha, NE and Trista Eloge of Nebr. City, NE; three grandchildren:  Dustyn, Rabekah and Ricky all of Nebr. City; sisters:  Jackie Tanner and Jayne Swearengin both of Nebr. City and Julie West (Mark) of Talmage, NE; brother-in-law Arnie Christiansen of Nebr. City; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father; sisters:  Jill Christiansen and Judy Marion; brothers-in-law:  Phil Marion and Gene Swearengin.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebr. City.

Memorials may be given to the family.
