Richard "Dick" W. Starner

Richard W. “Dick” Starner, age 71 of Nebraska City, NE passed away Saturday; December 21, 2024 at Prestige Care Center in Nebraska City.

Dick was born on August 13, 1953 in Nebraska City, NE; the son of Clarence Duane and Clarissa “Chrissy” (Roach) Starner.

He lived in Wichita, KS for many years and worked as a groundskeeper and in landscaping at the Boeing Airplane Plant there.

He is survived by children:  Heather and David; a brother Duane Starner of Nebr. City; nieces and nephews including his caregiver Lem Bates of Nebr. City and friend Mike Cozad of Nebr. City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ricky Starner (12/19/2011) and a sister Trudy Starner (12/20/2014).

Services will be held at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City at a later date.
