Richard L. (Dick) Schobert

Richard L. "Dick" Schobert, age 75 of Percival, IA passed away on Saturday; March 4, 2023 at the Ambassador Care Center in Sidney, IA.  He had resided at the Sidney Ambassador since 2016 when his health began to fail.

He was born on October 4, 1947 in Ohio and was the son of Jean (Ricketts) Schobert.  He attended school in California and graduated from high school in 1966.  He later attended Iowa State University, Ames, IA where he studied Agriculture.   Dick farmed for many years in the Percival area and was a member of the Percival Volunteer Fire Department.  He also served on the Sidney School Board and served in the Iowa National Guard.

Although he leaves no immediate family, he is survived by his many friends in and around Percival including Wayne Clark, Dale Chaney and John Schlorholtz.

Memorials in his memory may be directed to the Percival Volunteer Fire Department.
