Ramona Baldwin

Ramona M. Baldwin, age 94, of Rock Port, MO (formerly Hamburg, IA and Monett, MO), passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Pleasant View Care Center in Rock Port, MO.

Ramona (Million) Baldwin, was born on September 30, 1930, at her home in Watson, MO, the daughter of Jesse and Elsie Ruth (Hayes) Million. She was raised in Watson and attended school there.

She was united in marriage to Robert Baldwin in 1949 and the two raised their family in Hamburg, IA. She later moved to Monett, MO where she lived until moving to Rock Port to be closer to family.

While in Hamburg, Ramona worked as a caregiver for children. She loved her job and enjoyed spending time with the kids and their families, sitting and drinking coffee and visiting. Her door was always open to anyone that needed it, which also included animals that she loved dearly over the years. She was very active in the Hamburg American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, where she served as President for three years. She and Robert also enjoyed spending time boating. After moving to Monett, she worked for Jay Zee in the custodial department until her retirement.

She is survived by her children: Terry Baldwin (Connie) – Butterfield, MO, Corey Baldwin (Gail) – Monett, MO, and Stacey Baldwin – Peru, NE; grandchildren: Eric, Allen, Kelsie, Robert, Christopher, Zachary, Trevor, Elijah, Chloe, Dagan, Kat, Erica, Zachary and Angus; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces:  Billie (Dick) Morgan and Carmen (Steve) Ellison; many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son Randy Baldwin and stillborn son Tommy Baldwin; siblings: Ross Million, Mary Adeline Irvin, Martin Million, Jessie Ruth, and twin sister Naomi Steele.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
