Peggy Sue Simpson

Peggy Simpson, age 67 of Tarkio, MO (formerly Nebr. City) passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 at her home.

Peggy Sue Simpson was born on June 5, 1958 in Omaha, NE; the daughter of Milford and Betty (Hatch) Simpson.  She attended school in Weeping Water and Nehawka.  She worked at various jobs in Omaha, NE over the years.  In her free time she enjoyed writing letters and her cats.

She is survived by her children:  Mike Stutzman of Columbus, NE, Matt Pierce, Karen Pierce and Melissa Prokup all of Lincoln, NE; brother James Simpson of Nebraska City, NE; numerous grandchildren; other family and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Kenny Simpson and Darrell Simpson.

Services will be announced.
