Peggy Dolores (Walters) Minium

Peggy D. Minium, age 67 of Nebraska City, NE passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Nebr. City.

Peggy was born on April 23, 1954 in Omaha, NE; the daughter of Marvin and Lillian (Rico) Walters.  She grew up and attended school in Omaha where she graduated from high school.

She married Ralph Crowner in 1988 and they were later divorced.  She later married John Minium on June 27, 2008 and he preceded her in death on October 12, 2009.

Peggy worked at various jobs including most recently at WalMart in Nebraska City.  She also previously worked at KB Toys, Taylor Quik-Pik, Johnny’s Café and Powell Chiropractic.  She attended church at the Nebraska City Church of Christ. 

She is survived by her children:  Robert Howson (Tammy), Justin Howson, Calvin Crowner and Cheryl Greenlee all of Nebr. City, and Faye Crowner of Great Bend, KS; numerous grandchildren, including Keileigh and Mason Howson; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings:  Danny Walters and wife Jodi of Nebr. City, Bobby Walters of Nebr. City and Linda Clark of Denver, CO; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Gude Mortuary in Nebr. City.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Weeping Water, NE.

The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday (1/23) at the mortuary.
