Paula J. Nielsen, age 64 of Nebraska City passed away on Thursday; March 5, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Nebraska City.

She was born on September 27, 1955 in Omaha, NE; the daughter of Leonard Charles and Ruth Ann (O’Connor) Fuksa. She attended school in Omaha and graduated from Bryan High School with the class of 1972.

Paula worked at American Meter Co. for several years and also worked as a bartender.

She is survived by her sister Johanna Smithers of St. Johns, FL, brother Anthony Fuksa of Omaha, NE; other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Melinda Rae Nielsen on Sept. 21, 2004 as well as her parents.

In honoring her wishes, there will be no services held.
