Norma I. (Cleek) Ayres

Norma I. Ayres, age 84 of Nebraska City, NE passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Prestige Care Center in Nebr. City.

Norma Irene Ayres was born on October 24, 1939 in Peru, NE; the daughter of Frank R. and Irene E. (Umland) Cleek.

She attended school and graduated from the Peru High School in Peru, NE with the Class of 1957.

Norma worked for several years in the kitchen at St. Mary’s Hospital in Nebraska City and for the Nebraska City Public Schools.   

She is survived by her children:  Steven (Kary) Brown of Nebr. City, NE, Brian Brown (Kathy) of Bremerton, WA and Jonas Baker of Auburn, NE; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; other family and friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, two children:  Sharon Cunningham and Ronald Gene Brown and her grandson Mark Brown.

No formal services will be held.
