Marta L. Ferry

Marta Ferry, age 72 of Hamburg, IA passed away on December 15, 2022 at her home.

Marta Lea Grace Ferry was born on September 30, 1950 in Hayward, CA; the daughter of Charles Albert Ferry and Darlene May Smith.  She attended school and graduated from the former Tech High School in Omaha, NE with the Class of 1968.

She worked at ConAgra in Hamburg for many years and also at the former Holt’s Gas Station in Hamburg. 

Marta is survived by her son Marcus L. Ferry of Hamburg, IA; her mother Darlene Wright of Hamburg, IA; siblings:  Charles Daniel Ferry of Denver, CO, Jane Ann Hart of Bellevue, NE; nieces and nephews:  Sarah Phillips, Zach Meek, Martha Blue, Bill Kinser and Kippi Hocking; other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her step-father Marcus Wright and her sister Kimberly Suzanne Napiorkowski.
