Lupita Moreno de Manriquez

Lupita Moreno de Manriquez, age 86 of Nebr. City passed away on Friday; January 3, 2020 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on June 12, 1933 in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco Mexico; the daughter of Agustin Moreno and Maria Gabriela Lopez.  She was united in marriage to Timotoe Manriquez Falcon on May 29, 1947 at Leon, Guanajuato Mexico and to this union 12 children were born - she was preceded in death by an infant son at birth and a two year old son.   She was a loving housewife/homemaker, wife and mom who loved knitting sewing, embroidery and cooking.

She is survived by her husband Timotoe; ten children:  Jose de Jesus Manrique Moreon and wife Angelez of Mexico City, Mexico, Juan Andres Manrique and wife Rose Maria of Leon, Guanajuato Mexico, Maria Guadalupe Manrique and husband Juan Jose of Leon, Guanajuato Mexico, Jose Luis Manriquez and wife Alicia of Tecumseh, NE, Estela Aldana and husband Rogelio of Nebr. City, NE,  Isabel Cruz and husband Jose of Nebr. City, NE,  Miguel Angel Manriquez of Leon, Guanajuato Mexico, Rosaisela Manriquez and husband Salvador of Lincoln, NE, Martha Leticia Manriquez and husband Juan Jose of Nebr. City, NE and Juan Carlos Manriquez and wife Araceli of Lincoln, NE; 40 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; other family and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday; Jan. 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Nebraska City with Fr. Ryan Kaup celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial.  Burial will follow in St. Benedict's Cemetery.

A Rosary will be held Thursday; Jan. 9, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City.

Memorials may be given to St. Benedict's Catholic Church in her memory.
