Linda M. Mockerman, age 72 of Nebraska City, NE passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Bryan Medical Center-East in Lincoln, NE.

Linda Mae was born on March 21, 1950 in Iowa City, IA; the daughter of Frank Thomas and Roberta Austin.

She was married to Otes Wood Sr. on September 12, 1972 in Nebraska City. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2002.

She worked at several restaurants in Nebraska City during her working years, including Babes, Johnny’s, Fetty’s, John Browns and Sapp Bros.

Linda is survived by her children: Otes Wood Jr. of Lincoln, NE, Rebecca Roumo of Ft. Worth, TX and Crystal Hopper of Nebraska City, NE; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Otes Wood, Sr.
