Leann M (Larimore) Kohel

Leann M. Kohel, age 73 of rural Dunbar, NE; formerly Omaha, NE passed away on November 19, 2024 at her home.

Leann Mary Kohel was born on April 5 1951 in Omaha, NE; the daughter of William D. and Leola (Marsh) Larimore.  She attended school in Nevada, MO and graduated from the Nevada High School with the Class of 1969.  Later, she attended and graduated from the former Constantine Beauty School in Omaha, NE.

She was united in marriage to Terry P. Kohel on August 3, 1979 in Omaha, NE.  He preceded her in death on April 24, 2022.

Leann worked as a hairdresser from 1979 until her retirement in 2022.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Regan and husband Don of rural Dunbar, NE; one granddaughter Dani Christensen, two sisters:  Joan Sander of Nevada, MO and Judy Larimore of Council Bluffs, IA; a brother Dan Larimore and wife Susie of Nevada, MO; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In addition to her husband Terry, she was preceded in death by her three siblings.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.

Memorials in her memory may be directed to the Nebraska Humane Society.
