Keith Reinhard Obituary
Keith Reinhard, age 83 of Nebraska City, NE passed away on January 8, 2019 at Morton Place in
Nebraska City.
Roger Keith Reinhard was born on February 7, 1935 in Callaway, NE; the son of John and Maxine (Moore) Reinhard. He grew up in the Callaway community and graduated from Callaway High School with the class of 1952.
He was united in marriage to Shirley Fisbeck on August 7, 1955 in Callaway, NE. She preceded him in death on February 4, 1976.
Keith worked at various jobs over the years including as a Paint Contractor for some 50 years. He also owned and operated Arbor Liquor and co-owned and operated the Players Club in Nebraska City. At a young age, he worked on the family farm, as a grocery store stocker and for the railroad.
He enjoyed collecting antiques, boating, fishing, hunting, camping and playing cards with friends. He was also a big football fan, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers; Go Big Red!! He was a member of the Eagles, the Elks and the First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by son Kyle Reinhard of Grand Island, NE; lifetime family member Lacie Bruns-Morris and significant other Phil Hauptman and daughter Lexis of Nebr. City, NE; two grandchildren: Brad Reinhard of Springfield, NE and Natalie Cummings and husband Jason of Ft. Calhoun, NE; two great-grandchildren: Aiden Garbers and Victoria Cummings; a brother Karl Reinhard and wife Mary Jane of Callaway, NE, two sisters: Virginia Gardner of Mitchell, NE and Barbara Psota of Omaha, NE; two sisters-in-law: Barbara Reinhard and Nadine Reinhard both of Callaway, NE; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
In addition to his wife Shirley, Keith was preceded in death by his parents, son Randy Reinhard on April 6, 2017, brothers: Donald, Gary and Loyal Reinhard, brother-in-law Jerry Gardner and sister-in-law Betty Reinhard.
A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery in Callaway, NE.
