Julie K. Stukenholtz, age 67, of Nebraska City, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Julie Kay Stukenholtz was born on January 28, 1959, in Syracuse, Nebraska, to Duane F. and Mary Jane (Dickman) Carlson. She grew up in Syracuse and attended school there, graduating from Syracuse Dunbar Avoca (SDA) High School with the Class of 1977. She was generous with her time and deeply involved in her community, including her earlier involvement with the Jaycees. She also opened her home as a foster parent and touched many lives with her kindness, guidance, and support. She devoted more than 36 years of service as a Legal Secretary with the law firm Brandt, Horan, Hallstrom & Stilmock, retiring after a long and dedicated career.
Julie was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nebraska City. She is lovingly remembered by her significant other, Troy Albrecht, and his children, Abby and Zac, of Nebraska City; her sons, Justin Stukenholtz (Kayla) of Big Lake, Minnesota, Derek Stukenholtz (April) of Nebraska City, and Jordy Stukenholtz (Alison) of Walnut Shade, Missouri; her nine grandchildren: Ryker, Conner, Trevor, Brystal, Adisen, Zoey, Rayden, Anthony, and Kate; her parents, Duane and Mary Jane Carlson of Syracuse; her brothers, Doug Carlson (Lori) of Syracuse, and Dan Carlson (Jeanette) of Bellevue; and her grand dog, Milo.
