Julie V.M. Georges

Julie V.M. Georges passed away on February 14, 2025, in Nebraska City, Nebraska. She was born on August 21, 1965, in Falls City, Nebraska, Julie brought joy and warmth to those around her throughout her life.  

Julie shared a loving partnership with her wife, Sheila Vogele-Georges. she was a devoted parent to Jacob Hall, Andrew Hall, Travis Hall, Kelly Hall, and Zachery Hall, and embraced her extended family with open arms, including son-in-law Austin Peterson and daughter-in-law Amber Hall. Julie also cherished the bond she had with her siblings Terry and his wife Margie Georges of Auburn, Nebraska and Vickey and her husband Jerry Simpson of Claremore, Oklahoma. Her love extended to her nine grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness. Even her beloved dog, Missy Lou Sunshine Georges, held a special place in her heart.  

Julie had a passion for poetry and found solace and expression through her words. She also enjoyed the thrill of poker and trips to the casino, where she embraced the excitement of the game. She treasured time spent with family. Whether gathered around for meaningful conversations or enjoying shared experiences, these moments were at the heart of Julie’s life. A dedicated sports fan, Julie cheered enthusiastically for Nebraska football and the Kansas City Chiefs while holding a strong disdain for Ohio State football.  

Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Myrna Georges. her memory will live on through the love she shared with family and friends.  May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
