Josh Neemann

Joshua M. Neemann was born on March 19, 1985 in Omaha, NE and passed away on August 7, 2022 in Omaha.

Josh was preceded in death by his dad Steve Neemann, grandparents:  Jr. and LeAnn Wurtele and Merlin and Phyllis Neemann and Avis Neemann and uncle Ken Teten.

Josh is survived by his mom Jolene Neemann and brother Nic Neemann of Omaha as well as his special niece Evie Marchant of Iowa.  Aunts and uncles:  Tim Wurtele and Sandy of Syracuse, NE, Pam Gruber and Doug of Gresham, NE, Mike Neemann and Judy of Lorton, NE, Sue Rice and Roger of Nebr. City and Jan Teten of Auburn, NE; numerous cousins and many friends.

Josh graduated from Nebr. City High School in 2004, and then moved to Omaha with his family.  He loved to meet and make new friends, walk, fish, camp and take trips.  He also so enjoyed his job at ARC Fiber Optics in Omaha, NE where he worked with friends and his co-workers. 

Josh was soft spoken, kind and full of love.  He was enjoying his new apartment and all the new people around him.  He was very easy to please and lived a quiet, simple lifestyle.  He never judged anyone and treated everyone with respect.

Josh often spoke of how much he missed his dad, so we would talk through it, and hug and say “I love you”.  He often consoled me with loving words.

His brother Nic and I will be empty forever, but our love for him will never stop.
