Jerry Lee Mutchler

Jerry Lee Mutchler, 65 of Shenandoah, Iowa died January 11, 2022. Jerry was born November 12, 1956 to Lee Mutchler and Marjorie (Witham) Silence. After growing up in Shenandoah, Jerry lived for many years in California. Eventually he found himself back home in Shenandoah. Jerry enjoyed taking photographs and was quite creative. He would often paint pictures for his walls, as well as backgrounds for things he liked to display, such as a collection of motorcycle models. Jerry's greatest love was his dogs; Butthead, and Kaya. Kaya recently had puppies and he really enjoyed watching her take care of them. Sharing pictures of them often with family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Lee Mutchler; grandparents, Harry and Agnes (Graham) Mutchler, Charles and Velma (Yates) Witham; brother, Dean Mutchler; sisters, Lucile Mutchler, Rose Shirkey, and Earlene Silence.

Left to cherish his memory, his mother, Marjorie Silence; brothers, Charles Mutchler and wife Merle, Wendell Silence, Robert Silence; sister, Coleen Doty and husband Brian; numerous extended family members; and many friends.

A small grave side service will be held on January 31, 2022 for immediate family. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all those who have supported us during this time of loss.
