Jeffrey Morgan Obituary

Jeffrey Lee Morgan, 56, of Creston, IA, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at his home.

Jeff Morgan was born on June 28, 1968 in Fairfax, MO, the son of Jack and Sally (Stephens) Morgan. He attended school in Hamburg, graduating from Hamburg High School with the class of 1986.

After graduating from High School, Jeff enlisted in the United States Army and served his country until his honorable discharge in 1989. He later began working for Wellman Dynamics as a quality engineer, where he worked in aerospace fabrication until his health began to decline.

Jeff had many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed guns, taking his boys to gun shows, fishing, and animals. He was quite the prepper (the in case things get really bad kind), zombie movies, photography, weightlifting, and playing Xbox.

He is survived by Amy Morgan of Creston, IA; children: Brooks (Feli) Morgan of Alaska, Mickey (Kelsey) Morgan of Leon, IA, Jesse (Alexis) Morgan of St. Charles, IA,  Lynsie Puck, Melanie Puck, and Timothy (Jayde) Puck; grandchildren: Brentley, Avery, Jaxton, Jettson (due any day), Lyndon, Landon, Mary, Tori, Greyson, Natalie, and Willow; father and step-mother Jack and Joyce Morgan of Farragut, IA; siblings: Tom (Tanya) Morgan of Red Oak, IA and Shawn Morgan of Ashland, NE; other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Sally Morgan and his grandparents.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Hamburg Cemetery in Hamburg, IA.
