Janet Louise (Shaw) Weisbrook

Janet L. Weisbrook, age 63 of Nebr. City, NE passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.

Janet Louise (Shaw) Weisbrook was born on December 27, 1961 in Canon City, CO; the daughter of Walter and Alice (Wyatt) Shaw.  She attended school in Florence, CO and graduated from the Florence High School with the Class of 1981. 

After high school, Janet took CNA training classes worked as a CNA in Colorado.  She also worked at Looking Glass Factory where they make Napkin Rings for linen napkins.

She was united in marriage to Richard “Rick” Weisbrook in 1994 in Pueblo, CO.

She is survived by her husband Rick Weisbrook of Craig, NE; children:  Alicia Pursey of Nebr. City, NE, Joel Pursey of Auburn, NE, Nicole Pursey of Auburn, NE, Christopher Weisbrook of Nebr. City, NE and Angela Weisbrook of Fremont, NE; eight grandchildren and one due in June; sister Martha Haines of Florida; other family and friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and siblings:  Harry Shaw, Delmar Shaw, Judy Ivy and Mary Bainbridge.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Gude Mortuary in Nebr. City.
