Jane Ann Hart

Jane A. Hart, age 67 of Hamburg, IA passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Ambassador in Nebr. City, NE. 

Jane was born on October 3, 1957 in Omaha, NE; the daughter of Charles Ferry and Darlene (Smith) Wright.  She attended school in Omaha and the family later moved to Hamburg, where she graduated from Hamburg High School with the Class of 1975.  She later attended Metro Community College where she received an Associate Degree in Computer Networking.  Jane worked for the American Red Cross.

She is survived by her children:  Zach Meek of Hamburg, IA, Sarah (Chris) Phillips of Hamburg, IA and Martha (Michael) Blue of Auburn, NE; her mom Darlene Wright of Hamburg, IA; brother Danny Ferry of Denver, CO; nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her father Charles Ferry, stepfather Marcus Wright; sisters:  Marta Ferry and Kimberly Napiorkowski; step-grandparents:  Carroll “CD” and Ella Wright.

Family visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg, IA. 

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery in rural Hamburg, IA.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
