Glenda L. (Israel) Moore

Glenda L. Moore, age 78, formerly of Hamburg, IA passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the Garden View Care Center in Shenandoah, IA.

Glenda was born on November 21, 1944 in Hamburg, IA; the daughter of Harold “Hap” and Martha “Nooky” (Dresher) Israel.  She grew up and attended school in Hamburg, and graduated from the Hamburg High School with the Class of 1964.

On May 28, 1971, Glenda was united in marriage to James “Red” Moore in Hamburg.  She was a loving mother and wife and a housewife and homemaker.  Red preceded her in death on January 20, 2022.

She is survived by children:  Calvin Crowner of Nebraska City, Faye Crowner of Pratt, KS; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Jim Driscoll of Cook, NE; other family and many friends.

In addition to her husband, Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Mark A. Moore who died in 1975 and her sister Cynthia Driscoll..

Memorial Services will be held Saturday (2/18) at 3:00 p.m. at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City with Jesse Swearengin officiating.   She will be laid to rest at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City at a later date.
