Gail Edward "Eddie" Franke

Gail “Eddie” Franke, age 47 of Nebr. City passed away on October 6, 2021 at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.

Gail Edward Franke, lovingly known as “Eddie”, was born on September 16, 1974 in Creston, IA; the son of Wayne and Dorothy Franke.

On February 22, 1996, he was united in marriage to Tammy L. Mullins in Atlantic, IA.  He had previously worked at the Farmers COOP’s in Creston, IA and Medicine Lodge, KS until his health began to fail.

Eddy enjoyed fishing and playing pool and darts.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Franke of Nebr. City; children:  Charles Franke of Nebr. City, Destiny Hendrickson of Nebr. City and Michael Hendrickson (Chelsea) of Nebr. City; six grandchildren; his mother Dorothy Franke and siblings:  Susan Franke of Creston, IA and Rusty Franke of Des Moines, IA; other family and friends.

Eddy was preceded in death by his dad Wayne Franke and a sister Sharon Franke.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday: November 6 at 3:00 p.m. at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City. 

Memorials may be given to the family in his memory.
