Gaetano Gabriel Musumeci

Gaetano G. Musumeci, age 91 of Pawnee City, NE; formerly Nebraska City passed away on Wednesday; June 14, 2023 at Premier Estates Care Center in Pawnee City.   He moved from the former Duff’s Friendship Villa in Nebraska City to Premier Estates in August of 2016.

He was born on October 6, 1931 at the Englewood Hospital in Englewood, NJ; the son of Guiseppe and Rosa (Scuderi) Musumeci.  He attended school and graduated from the Maum High School in Cornell, NY.

Gaetano was an Iron Worker for many years and was a member of the Camden Union #399.  He worked with the Top Out Gang constructing the top of Tower 1 of the World Trade Center in New York.  He served in the New Jersey National Guard and also did truck driving.

He is survived by his children:  Joseph Musumeci of Nebr. City, NE, Thomas Musumeci of Winston-Salem, NC and Angelina Two Bears of Sutherlin, OR; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, other family and many friends.
