Delores L. Dearking

Delores L. Dearking, age 100 of Nebraska City, NE passed away on September 14, 2025 at the Ambassador in Nebraska City.

She was born at Ohiowa, NE on January 3, 1925; the daughter of Herman and Minnie (Meyer) Schroeder.

She was united in marriage to Rodger Dearking and he preceded her in death.

Rodger and Delores moved to Nebraska City in 1961 from Grand Island, NE and in 1965 she began her career at Pendleton Woolen Mills in Nebr. City.  She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her sons:  Ron Dearking and wife Julie of St. Cloud, MN and Dean Dearking and wife Angela of Bettendorf, IA; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

In honoring her wishes, there will be a private family graveside service at the Ohiowa Cemetery, Ohiowa, NE.
