Deldene LaRae Lowder, 75, formerly of Nebraska City, passed away on April 15, 2026, at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, IA.
Deldene was born on June 5, 1950, in Nebraska City, NE, the daughter of Fritz Forrest Bargenquast and Dorothy Lucille Thompson. She attended school in Nebraska City, graduating with the class of 1969.
She was united in marriage to Stanley Melvin Moyer II in 1969 in Hamburg, IA. She was later united in marriage to Wayne Eugene White in 1985 in Nebraska City, NE. She was the loving mother of four children: Stan, Crystal, Daniel, and Robin.
In addition to being a housewife and mother, Deldene had many hobbies, including playing the violin, crocheting, and making blankets. She also worked for a time at W.O.T.A.
She is survived by her children: Stan (Jackie) Moyer of Nebraska City; Daniel (Lisa) Moyer of Council Bluffs, IA; and Robin (Daniel) Hanig of Burlington Junction, MO; grandchildren: Kaelie (Bryan) Frields, Lukas (Madison) Moyer, Lyndzie (Drew) Harris, Baleigh McElroy, Ryan Hanig, Mackenzie Hanig, Amie McElroy, Breanna McElroy, Kynzie Moyer, Hailey Moyer, and Eli Moyer; great-grandchildren: Lilly, Everly, Nora, Lucy, and one on the way; siblings: Daris (Wayne) Gilbert of Minneola, TX; Darla (Lonnie) Bane of Gruene, TX; Marcia (Tony) Bacino of Marshalltown, IA; Deanna (Marlin) White of Surprise, AZ; David Moyer of Lubbock, TX; and Darren (Sheri) Moyer of Salina, KS; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
In addition to her husband, Wayne, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Moyer; grandson, Tim Carter; mother and stepfather, Dorothy and David Moyer; father, Fritz Bargenquast; grandparents, Earl and Goldie Thompson; and very special aunt, Inez Moyer.
