David R. Howard

David R. Howard, 58, of Copperas Cove, TX (formerly Hamburg, IA), passed away on June 4, 2024, in Killeen, TX.

David was born on October 28, 1965 in Omaha, NE, the son of Dean O. and Thelma (Sumner) Howard. He attended school in Omaha and later in Hamburg.

He worked for many years at Con-Agra in Hamburg. He loved listening to music and playing video games.

He is survived by his son, Dustin Howard (Tracy Pruett) of Omaha, NE; siblings: Julee Smith of Omaha, NE, Philip Howard (Kelly Thomas) of Copperas Cove, TX, Janis Ireland (Doug DeBoer) of Lincoln, NE, and Jean Howard of Omaha, NE; other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Thelma Howard;  and sister Judith Popish.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at the Wildwood Shelter #2 in Nebraska City from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
