Cody Lee Kreifels

Cody L. Kreifels, age 23 of Tecumseh, NE passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019.

Cody Lee Kreifels was born on August 21, 1995 at Eglin Air Force Base near Valparaiso, FL; the son of Lance Carl and Julie Ayn (Wigington) Kreifels.  Cody was home schooled through the 8th Grade and then in 9th Grade started at Johnson-Brock High School where he graduated with the class of 2014.

He worked at Gartner Transport in Tecumseh, NE for the last three years, where he was a forklift operator and did minor maintenance.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son Aaden Lee Kreifels of the home; parents Lance and Julie Kreifels of Auburn, NE; siblings:  Celestine Kreifels of Ann Arbor, MI, Caleb Kreifels of Auburn, NE, Claire Kreifels of Auburn, NE and Cade Kreifels of Auburn, NE; maternal grandparents Tom and Kathy Wigington of Nebr. City; paternal grandparents Melvin and Lila Kreifels of Nebr. City; aunts and uncles:  Tom Wigington (Sarah) of St. Louis, MO, Aaron Wigington (Jessica) of Kansas City, MO, Rebecca Rezac (Matt) of Lincoln, NE, Nathan Wigington (Mary) of Nebr. City, Adam Wigington (fiance Christine) of Mountain View, CA, Matthew Wigington (Ehlaura) of Seattle, WA, Mitch Kreifels of Denver, CO, Scott Kreifels (Lori) of Nebr. City, and Wayne Kreifels (Brenda) of Nebr. City; numerous cousins, other family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nebr. City.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Nebr. City.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening (7/25) at Gude Mortuary in Nebr. City.

Memorials may be directed to a college fund being established for Aaden’s education.
