Wilma Charlene (Fancher) Painter
Charlene Painter, 97, passed on February 19, 2021, in Nebraska City. The youngest of three, Charlene was born to Vernal (Gore) and Fred Fancher in Forbes, MO, on September 24, 1923.
She married Paul Painter on March 13,1943, and they enjoyed 67 years of marriage. Charlene was devoted to her family; a faithful member of the First Christian Church, and a loyal Huskers fan.
Charlene is survived by her daughters Kay Jackson, Yelleville, AR; Vicki (Len) Ohrnell of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at Gude Funeral Home and burial will follow at Wyuka Cemetery.
Memorials in her memory may be given to the Meals on Wheels Program in Nebraska City.
