Chad S. Kimpel

Chad S. Kimpel, age 55 of Hamburg, IA passed away on Saturday morning, October 28, 2023 at Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg.

Chad Stewart Kimpel was born on June 5, 1968 in Fairfield, IL; the son of Malcolm Clyde and Linda Joyce (Johnson) Kimpel.  He attended school and graduated from the Edwards County High School with the Class of 1986.  He later attended college where he studied Electronics.

Chad worked as a Tube Welder for many years for several companies.  He enjoyed playing pool and various outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking and hunting.  He also enjoyed motorcycles.

He is survived by his fiancé Loretta Robinson of Hamburg, IA; children:  Chance Kimpel of Browns, IL, Chelsea (Logan) Racster of Mt. Carmel, IL and Caleb (Makayla) Kimpel of Browns, IL; four grandchildren:  Sylis Kimpel, Asa Kimpel, Roland Racster and Calihan Racster; his parents:  Malcolm and Linda Kimpel of Camdenton, MO; a brother Marcus Kimpel (fiancé Trisha Lynn) of Riverton, IA; niece Nicole Kimpel and nephew Noah Kimpel; other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Riverside Bar in Riverton, IA.

Memorials may be given to the family in his memory.
