Bill Huffman

William G. “Bill” Huffman, age 64 of Council Bluffs, IA (formerly Nebr. City) passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

Bill Huffman was born on October 3, 1957 in Independence, MO; the son of Charles William Huffman and Patricia Lee Hamblen-Rounkles.  He graduated from Brunswick High School in Brunswick, MO in 1976.

Bill worked at the former Haverty’s Gas Station in Nebr. City for many years and then he worked for F&B Construction and PVS where he hauled steel.  He was a former member of the Nebraska City Eagles.

He is survived by his daughters:  Amber Huffman (significant other Sorin) of Belgium and Kacie Huffman of Nebraska City, NE; daughter-in-law Donna Huffman of Tennessee; eight grandchildren; siblings:  Lillian Huffman of Ludlow, MO, Charles Huffman of Carrollton, MO, Joan Cockriel of Braymer, MO and Donald Beeler of Hermann, MO; a special friend; his dog Peanut, whom he loved like his own kids; other family and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and son Dustin DeWayne Huffman in 2013.

Memorials may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.

A Family Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Gude Mortuary.
