Obituary
Angela R. Francis, age 52 of Nebraska City passed away Friday evening; May 26, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.
She was born on April 5, 1971 in Poplar Bluff, MO (Butler County); the daughter of James L. and Barbara A. (Barriner) Francis. She attended school in Missouri and later attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO where she earned a degree in Psychology/Criminal Justice.
Angela most recently worked at Tag's One Stop in Nebraska City and prior to that at the former Quik Pik. She also had worked at Subway in Percival, IA.
She is survived by her children: Melony Francis of Nebraska City and Chris Culp of Rock Port, MO; five grandchildren; her mother Barbara Alexander of Nebraska City and a brother Aaron Lacy of Nebraska City as well as other extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother Jerry David.
Angela will be laid to rest at the Zion Cemetery at Poplar Bluff, MO with other family members.
Memorials may be given to the family to defray expenses.
