Aaron Dean Brink

Aaron D. Brink, age 60 of Nebraska City passed away on Thursday; Dec. 16, 2021 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

Aaron was born on September 2, 1961 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Nebraska City; the son of Loris Dean and Donna Jean (Potter) Brink.  He attended school in Humboldt, Johnson-Brock, Auburn and Nemaha Valley Schools at Cook, NE where he graduated with the Class of 1980.

He was united in marriage to Dana Lee Jones on September 2, 1989 at Coryell Park near Brock, NE; and to this union three sons were born:  James, Johnathan and Jackson.

Aaron was a Scrap Metal/Metal Salvage Dealer for many years.  Most recently he worked at WalMart for some ten years before his health began to fail.

He is survived by his wife Dana of Nebr. City, sons:  James Brink of Arkansas, John and Jack Brink both of Nebr. City; siblings:  Cathy Shavee of Sioux Falls, SD, Loris Jean Rice (Francis Carl) of Auburn, NE, Candice Rae Gordon of Teriton, OK and Diane Renee Brink of Auburn, NE; mother in law Dorothy Jones of Union, NE, sister in law Gaille Brown of Union, NE; brother in law Mike Pummel of Nebr. City; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Hallie Ritchie, his parents, a sister Karen Brink and his brothers in law:  Milton Shavee and Jerry Gordon.

Services will be held Wednesday; Dec. 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City.

Memorials may be given to the family in Aaron’s memory.
