My thoughts and prayers are with Gary's family. Gary was a special friend as we have the same birthday, only 30 min apart. We grew up together from Elementry to High School . We were in Scouts together and made some very memorable situations through the years. I will miss his always there when ever something needed to be done. I want to extend my thoughts and prayers to Gary's Mother, Marjorie and his sister Susan. God bless each and everyone of Gary's family.

It is with great sadness that I learned today of Gary's passing. Knowing that Gary knew the Lord softens the ache just a bit, as we will meet again someday. It's at times like these that words don't seem to be enough. I'll always remember Gary's gentle spirit. I can honestly say that I never heard an angry word cross his lips. My condolences to his daughters, mother and sister. May God continually bless you in your time of sorrow.

Gary was a kind and thoughtful person and I have fond memories of him from our Hamburg school years together. So sorry to hear of his passing so young. May our heavenly Father keep him safe and in comfort until you can be joined with him again. One of my favorite memories comes from when I was in grade school. Gary's mom would drive him to several of the classmates homes and he would bring a very specially made May Basket, never caught him, he was too fast at running up to the door, hanging the basket, there was a quick knock and away he went. Usually only saw the tail end of the car as it headed down the driveway. Even as a youngster I was always very touched by that gesture and the effort it took to do something special for another that he did not have to do. I would guess that he was an excellent teacher to the young people he came in contact with.
