I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Ernie Rink. I met Ernie several times. I'm the supervisor of the Nebraska City hospital radiology department. Ernie would come in and share his experiences when he worked General Electric Co. (X-Ray Company) in Kansas. I very much enjoyed listening to them. Ernie also donated to the hospital a very beautiful X-ray tube from the 1920s encased in glass in 1995 which is still on display in the radiology department today. The memory of his X-Ray work will live at St. Mary's forever. Rest in peace Ernest.

So sorry to hear that Ernie passed. We know he will be missed. I have such fun memories of our times together in Omaha with your family. Ernie was always lots of fun and up to tricks. My brother, Steve, and I would play with Larry and Cindy and probably get into all kinds of trouble. Sorry we can't be there for the funeral but our thoughts and prayers will be with all your family.
