To my sweet cousin. My memories with you are precious. We were such good buddies. So glad you left the earth doing what you loved. I know you are happy with Aunt Lois, Grandma and Uncle Leonard and all our Aunts and Uncles. Will miss you, but am looking forward to seeing you in heaven.

Such a tragic loss. Cathy and my 15+ yr friendship was based on our love for tennis. We were perfectly matched. She hated to lose and I, well, gave her plenty of opportunities to win. Her grumbling over the times I won will be treasured memories. We had plans to play today. I still will. Cathy wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. As the shock wears off and the heartache sets in, I pray her family and loved ones will find peace in Cathy having lived her life to the fullest right up until the moment she crossed over to eternal life. Cathy’s warm heart and deep faith will carry us through this difficult time. In her memory we will live each day as though it were our last.

Look to this day,
For it is life,
The very life of life.
In its brief course lie all
The realities and verities of existence,
The bliss of growth,
The splendor of action,
The glory of power ———

For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is only a vision,
But today, well lived,
Makes every yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look, well, therefore, to this day.

Sanskrit proverb
By Kalidasa,
Indian Poet and playwright, Fifth Century A.D.

God rest your soul, Cathy. I will miss you dearly.
