Lonnie Gene Ottens

Lonnie G. Ottens, age 45, of Lincoln, NE passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

Lonnie Gene Ottens was born on October 7, 1974 in Nebraska City, NE; the son of Robert Eugene and Sharon Marie (King) Ottens.  He was born with Wolf-Hirschorn Syndrome and the doctors said he would only live about two years, but he was a fighter and defied the odds by living 45 years.  His family loved him dearly and he was the bond that held his family together.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mom, Sharon Robertson and husband Mike of Des Moines, IA; three sisters:  Lynette Saltzman and husband John, Michelle Ottens and Stacey Ottens all of Lincoln, NE; 12 nieces and nephews and 28 great nieces and nephews; other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert E. Ottens as well as his grandparents:  Charles and Joyce King and Eugene and Martha Ottens.  .  .

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Butherus, Maser and Love Funeral Home in Lincoln, NE.   Burial will be in the Wyuka Cemetery at Nebr. City.
